Wow I hadn’t realized it’s been awhile since I’ve written but I’ve been busy creating and I tend to lose track of time when that happens.
Anyway today we woke up to an icy wonderland and the kids once again had no school however none of them seem to want to venture out in the ice. As for me I braved it then managed to slide down the hill on my backside and inadvertently snapped a pic as I went for the ride. Nothing was hurt but my pride and I managed to get back up without any troubles.
I was then able to get a few pictures of the beautiful icy world outside.
What’s it look like in your part of the world?
Once in awhile I like to pretend I am an artist. Creating these goddesses is not only fun but also therapeutic. I tend to suffer from knowing my self worth and believing in myself but with each goddess I create I find a little more of me and know that I am worthy of self love.
I think that each one I create portrays a new side of myself that I am only just discovering.
I hope you enjoyed my art share as much as I enjoyed creating these dolls and sharing them with you.
Friday night into Saturday morning we got hit with a snow storm that dropped around 5 to 6 inches of snow.We managed to get dug out, not that we actually went anywhere but it had to be done so we could get out if needed. While out exploring I took a tumble but thankfully it was a soft landing. So I decided to head back inside and work on some art. Not that I had anything better to do, well I did have other things but they aren’t nearly as much fun as my art.
I am working on creating a series of cards to sell at the local artwork that is held monthly. I call these ones “Hippie Chicks” I want to get copies made so I can keep the originals. This little guy was the first one I created and started the idea of the “Hippie Chicks”. However he already found his way to a new home and was a hit.
I hope you stick around because I have so much more art to share and one of my New Years goals is to get myself and my art out there in the world.
